16 & 17 April Years ago in Rockford, IL, the Deery brothers saw a trailer come loose from the car on an interstate and they got the idea for a trailer race. Trailer racing is a little known phenomenon that is sweeping the nation because it's demolition to the extreme! Figure 8 Racing has never seen anything like this before. The rules for this event are easy…the last trailer standing wins. Drivers must trail something (a boat, camper, etc.) around the track in figure 8 pattern. Once you hit the crosshairs you can kiss your trailer goodbye. As long as part you the trailer is still attached…you're still in the race! Pride is on the line and these drivers are out for one thing only…total destruction!
23 & 24 April Big American iron from the past come to life for one more night of crashing, smoking and total destruction. Other demolition derbys have nothing on Tournament of Destruction. In most other demolition derbys there aren't any rules and the winner is the last person standing. Tournament of Destruction is unique because there are eight teams going head to head in elimination competition. Each team has four cars and each driver has a role. There is a runner, run blocker and two crushers. Not only do you have to survive, but you also have to complete five laps to win. There's money on the line, but for the drivers competition in this event…there's much more than that! The drivers are out for blood and they'll hit you as hard as they can. It's total annihilation…you don't want to miss it!
30 April & 01 May Rockcrawling is the fastest growing motor sport in the world. It is four-wheel drive vehicles of an extreme nature going over the most incredible obstacles imaginable. Sixty degree walls and greater, eight foot crevasses, and tremendous side hills are bring thousands of spectators to each event. It has everything a motor sports enthusiast would want…the sounds, the pits, the competition and the carnage. UROC is a two-day event with teams competing on 10 obstacles total (five per day). Each team consists of one driver and one spotter. The spotters guide the drivers through the gates (orange cones), pile rocks for traction, and pull the rockcrawler up steep inclines. Teams are scored on time, number of gates hit, reversing, and a myriad of other rules. The winning team is the one that comes in with the lowest score. Competition is fierce at the events, but the rocks are even tougher…it's an event not to be missed!
07 & 08 May What do you do with a snowmobile in the summer? Race it on grass! Drag racing has never seen anything like this before. With multiple classes, hundreds of sleds, and drivers barreling down the track in five seconds…it's racing to the extreme. PSGDRA (Professional Snowmobile Grass Drag Racing Association) puts on an exciting event with racers competing in six classes: 600 stock, 700 stock, 800 stock, 1000 improved stock, 1000 pro stock, and 1000 heavy modified. These drag races are unique in the fact that they race four snowmobiles at a time…the top two winners move on in rounds until one is crowned champion!
14 & 15 May Welcome to the Figure 8 World Finals! Endurance is the key to winning this event. Each year the best figure 8 racers in the country get together for a three-hour long figure 8 race where the crashes are fierce and the competition is stiff. 28 racers and 22 alternate drivers all converge to test the limits of their cars and their luck when they traverse the figure 8. You're not safe anywhere on the track and that holds especially true for the cross hairs in the middle of the track. The only question is…do you hit the gas or the brakes? The driver with the most laps completed after 3 hours is crowned champion…and that means a large purse and larger bragging rights!
21 & 22 May Harley Davidson motorcycles scream power and demand attention when they're on the highway. When they come onto the drag strip…they're on a whole other level! All Harley Drag Racing Association offers some of the best motorcycle drag racing in the country. What started out as a club racing organization in the late seventies, with 50-60 competitors and virtually no spectators in the stands, has grown into a national organization that hosts 250-350 competitors and between 7,500-10,000 spectators per event. This extreme sport is the most unique in motorsports today, giving fans direct access to the competition. Each event ticket allows the fan to circulate through team pit areas. They are able to observe the teams working on the motorcycles. Riders and mechanics are always willing to speak with fans and sign autographs.
28 & 29 May It's all about the wheelie stands for this event. It's always fun to "pop a wheelie" on a bike but how about a car? The key to winning this event is to keep your foot on the throttle, look up at the sky and pray that your car is going in a straight line! Drivers who dare to enter this competition are judged on distance, height, photogenic qualities, and violence factor. With only two chances to impress the judges…the wheelie stands better be hot! Don't try this at home…
04 & 05 June Rooster tails kicking up dirt and rocks, sand flying, speeds approaching 200 miles per hour. 300 feet and 3 seconds later…it's all over! Top fuel dragsters aren't always on the asphalt…race them on sand and dirt and you'll get the rush of your life. Competition is tough and the ground is unforgiving…it's drag racing to the extreme and you don't want to miss it!

18 & 19 June Cars don't run without motors and if you're in a race car you want the best motor you can get. For the last few years the best engine builders in the country all participate in a week long intense competition. The builder that creates the best motor wins…period. A big part of the prize is bragging rights, but there's also money on the line… $74,000 to be exact. With some of the most well known builders in the country participating…it's anyone's game!
25 & 26 June Dirt flying, wheels up in the air…this isn't your average drag race. Racing on asphalt is easy compared to this off road desert race. Three 60-mile laps in the middle of the desert are anything but predictable. Off road enthusiasts are treated to thirty minutes of pure excitement with unlimited buggies and trophy trucks dominating the desert and taking no prisoners. In this race time is of the essence and you're not only racing against the clock and other competitors, but the terrain will take its toll on the racer's vehicle. Who will win the endurance race in the desert
02 & 03 July Tires screeching, rubber flying, and record setting action. Pro Mod 5.0 is the top draw at World Street Challenge, and this year $35,000 goes to the winner of this class. Dozens of the fastest Mustangs in the world battle it out in the 6-second zone at over 225 mph! Doug Mangrum, Les Baer, Billy Glidden, Randy Eakins, and Donnie Walsh, Jr. have won past Pro Mod 5.0 championships. Who will join them in 2004 as the undisputed king of the Mustangs?
09 & 10 July At this race you're not safe anywhere on the track…especially the crossover. The only question is…do you hit the gas or the brakes? To win you have to stay in the race for 18 brutal laps while passing through the intersection at 75 miles per hour. Jesse James, West Coast Choppers and Discovery Channel's Monster Garage, joins the mayhem and is sure to cause chaos of his own. If he doesn't fall victim to the crossover first.

23 & 24 July There aren't any kids in these school buses and they're lucky because these buses are out for total destruction and mayhem. It's Figure 8 racing to the extreme…school bus style. 14 Drivers load into their school bus' and traverse the "deadly" figure 8 course. It's not easy avoiding an accident in the crossover when you're driving a compact car…a school bus is another story! Fans are treated to 30 minutes of action packed, hitting, rolling, and all together crazy school bus racing!
30 & 31 July What do you do with a car that doesn't run, or a car with no brakes, or even one with just working brakes? Chain them together and enter a figure 8 train race! At this race you're not safe anywhere on the track…especially the crossover. The only question is…do you hit the gas or the brakes? Fans are treated to 30 minutes of action packed, hitting, rolling, and all together crazy train racing!

20 & 21 August These events, primarily based in the Western United States, take race fans back to the golden era of drag racing. While the cars look nostalgic with the likes of front engined top fuel cars and full-bodied gassers, under their skin - they're well-engineered, hi-tech modern day race cars. Spectacular performances and thrilling racing are the result with a feel of a 60's drag meet. Unlimited access to the pits and drivers and a grass roots style of competition make these events fan favorites. The famed March Meet, held under Goodguys sanction each spring at historic Famoso Raceway in Bakersfield is the Goodguys cornerstone Vintage Drag Racing event.

Timmy Lynch took the top prize, and he'll be back to see if he can once again grab the $15,000 for first place against the likes of John Urist, Dan Millen, Brad Brand, Mike Calvert, Sammy Vincent, Jim Blair, Kieth Szabo, Mike Trimandilis, Gary Rohe, and over 40 Pro Street Outlaw teams as they duke it out.
