06 & 07 February If you fancy buying a classic car now might be a perfect time to buy one. Not only will you have a used car to use and enjoy, but if you buy the right one it be will an investment that will make you a lot of money in the long run Alice Crocker spends some time in a 1970s Cadillac that has it all. Starsky and Hutch needed something to blend into the crowd so, what better car to choose than a bright red and white Ford Torino.
13 & 14 February In this very special James Bond flavoured episode of the show we take a look at some of the great James Bond cars. Alice Crocker goes to the Swiss Alps to road test the cars from the 1964 James Bond classic ‘Goldfinger’ and Chris Serle takes us on a very personal journey in his Aston Martin DB24.
20 & 21 February Alice Crocker visits a classic car auction with some of the most expensive classic cars imaginable. We are given VIP access to Santa Pod for some of the classic Ford drag racing and Chris Searle spends a day with a classic French car the Panhead a car way before its time and made totally out of aluminium.
27 & 28 February We’re invited to the Wroughton Classic the science museums secret collection of classic cars from every motoring era. Alice Crocker gets to experience some of the best classic cars ever produced at the Mallory Park racetrack. we spend some time with a group of Austin Allegro fanatics, Penny Mallory and JasonI let you know the pros and cons of buying a classic Audi Quattro coupe. We take a look at one of the most unpopular cars of all time that’s now enjoying something of a renaissance the Hillman Imp.
06 & 07 March Coming up in this show, Alice Crocker takes the impossibly cute Fiesta 500 for a spin, we take a look at the history and evolution of the super car when we revisit some of the most influential cars ever designed. The Beauleiu motor museum gives Chris and Alice exclusive access to their motor collection, we spend the day at the Prescott hill climb and Penny Malory and Jason take a look at the ins and outs of buying a ford GT.
13 & 14 March Chris Serle discovers one of the biggest barn finds of all time where one man horded cars from every era and left them locked up and untouched for over 40 years. We visit The Classic Motor Show at Birmingham’s N.E.C, attend a very special celebration of the legendary Jaguar X J 13, and Penny Mallory and Jason look into the pros and cons of investing in a Ferrari Daytona.
20 & 21 March Steve Berry takes part in the annual Beaujolais Run. A race made up of cars from every era as they compete to reach a series of cryptic checkpoints throughout France. We’re invited to a very special celebration of the ‘Maserati 250’, which was recently voted the best racing car of all time. Chris Serle and Alice Crocker visit Jack Tuckers garage an authentic recreation of what a garage in the 1930s would really have been like. We take a look at an affordable British car that could be your perfect introduction into classic car ownership.
27 & 28 March The Aston Martin owners club invite Alice Crocker on one of their race days. Chris Searle finds out why a restored Jaguar E type can be as reliable as most modern day cars. We visit the Wroghton classic car show, the Ford Focus owners club take us for a spin in a few of their cars and we find out why so many vintage Bentley owners decide to get their cars together in the middle of the English country side.
03 & 04 April We look at the history & development Jaguar motor car company from its humble beginnings all the way through to its storming success in the 50s & 60s. Penny Malory puts the legendary XK120, C-Type, D-Type & E-Type all through their paces in an effort to find the ultimate classic Jaguar.
10 & 11 April We look at some of the highlights of the series so far. Alice Crocker takes an in-depth look at the greatest James Bond car of all time the Aston Martin DB5. We road test the Ferrari 355 Spider, a classic supercar that can be picked up for less than the price of a new BMW 3 series.. Chris Searle finds out why a restored Jaguar E-type can be every bit as reliable as a modern car. Penny Mallory takes a look at what is sure to become a modern classic, the Bentley Arnage, as well as that classic Jaguar the D-type. The producers of the latest Bond film have loaned us the car destined to become a modern classic the Aston Martin DBS.
