Chasing Classic Cars - Episode Guide
12 & 13 March Wayne is contacted by a collector looking to liquidate his collection of vintage racing Cobras worth upwards of 5.5 million dollars.

The Chase
The chase is on as Wayne's heads to an undisclosed location on the East Coast to inspect the Cobra collection where he finds, a 1966 Shelby 427 S/C Cobra Roadster race car, one of only a handful ever built.

The Fix
Wayne and his team race to prep the 427 for the Mecum Original Spring Classic Auction in Indianapolis – where it'll be crossing the block along with an ultra rare, 1965 Shelby Daytona Cobra Coupe. A FIA Championship Winner, driven by Bob Bondurant in 1965, the Shelby is expected to break American car auction records by selling for millions of dollars.

The Deal
Wayne heads to Indy – where he's hoping the car will bring 1.5 million, but it's anyone's guess as to what happens next in this upside down market.
19 & 20 March Amelia Island – FLY Yellow
The Amelia Island Concours d' Elegance and RM Auction are called the Pebble Beach of the East. Held on Northern Florida's scenic Amelia Island, the weekend has become on of Wayne's first events of the auction season. This year his plan is twofold…

The Fix
Wayne's primary mission is to show a 1968 Ferrari 330 GTC that he found in pieces in a hot rod shop in California. Having just undergone a year-long restoration at Wayne's shop, the Ferrari is entered to compete in an untraditional, but highly competitive, "Yellow Italian" car class at the Concours.

The Chase
Wayne's second goal at Amelia Island is to hunt for 'under the radar' cars at the RM Auction and a 1927 Hudson Super Six Supercharged Sports Tourer has caught his eye.

The Deal
With the world economy at an all time low, Wayne is hoping to scoop up a few cars at bargain prices. -- will he be the highest bidder on the Hudson or come home empty handed?
26 & 27 March Duesenberg Barn Find
An old friend of Wayne's calls him with a project… hidden away in the garage of his now empty family home is a vintage Duesenberg worth over a million dollars. He wants Wayne to pull it out of the garage and get it ready for the Newport Concours d'Elegance just a couple of short months away. The deadline is tight, but the Concours benefits an Autism Speaks, a cause close to Wayne's heart. His incentive to help the organization find a cure is his youngest daughter, who was diagnosed with Autism at an early age.

The Chase
Wayne heads out to inspect the Duesenberg – a car that's been out of the public eye for over twenty years.

The Fix
Wayne and his crew race to prep the Duesenberg for its debut at Newport.

The Deal
If the Duesenberg ever makes it to the Concours, can it bring home the top prize in its class?
02 & 03 April Jaguars at Greenwich
June is here and Wayne has two Jaguars he plans to sell at the exclusive Bonhams' auction in Greenwich, CT.

The Chase
When Wayne gets a call from someone looking to sell a 1965 Jaguar Mk2 3.8 Litre Saloon he immediately hits the road to see the car. It passes his inspection he buys it on spot.

The Fix
The other car he has for sale is a1953 XK120 Roadster. Although it's in need of a complete paint job to bring it up to Wayne's standards, he only has twelve weeks to disassemble the car, refit the body panels and paint. It's a short timeframe so he has all hands working on the project. To make matters worse Wayne discovers the 3.8 needs a new fuel pump and possibly a new timing chain.

The Deal
With fingers crossed, Wayne is hoping he bought these cars for the right price to flip them at the auction and make a healthy profit.
09 & 10 April Chevy
Wayne gets a call from a widow looking to sell her husband's 1960 Chevy Impala. Purchased from the second owner in 1981 – the car was delivered, put into a barn, built especially to house it and never driven again.

The Chase
Now, nearly thirty years later Wayne comes to inspect the car – what he finds is astounding. Nearly as pristine as the day it left the factory, the Impala is in amazing condition – right down to the original tires. The owner hires Wayne to get it into running condition and bring it to auction.

The Fix
Wayne and his team replace the gas tank and the exhaust system on the car in time for the owner to do something she has never done before – take a ride in the car that was her late husband's pride and joy.

The Deal
Mecum Auctions is making its debut in Monterey, CA and Wayne knows it's the place to sell the Chevy. Will the car find a new home or make the long return trip to CT?
16 & 17 April Bimbo Racer
When Wayne gets a lead on a 1950's era Bimbo Racer – he has some choices to make.

The Chase
Advertised as a real car "for pre-teen men and women of distinction" the Bimbo is a toy car powered by a 12-volt battery. While not exactly a daily driver, the green power and eclectic nature of this collectible captures Wayne's attention and he ultimately scoops it up for $1,800.

The Fix
Wayne surprises his father – the man who taught him how to restore cars – with a project. Get the Bimbo restored in time to bring it to the prestigious Bonhams' auction in Carmel Valley, CA.

23 & 24 April Wayne has two cars lined up for the 30th Anniversary Meadow Brook Concours d'Elegance held on the grounds of Michigan's opulent Meadow Brook Hall Mansion. The first is one of only twenty five Hudson Italias -- a 1953 that originally belonged to a childhood neighbor of Wayne's who sold it to him after decades of pristine ownership. The second car is a 1918 Panhard Levassor that originally belonged to Luigi Chinetti Sr., the famous Le Mans racer and personal friend of Enzo Ferrari, who brought the Ferrari franchise to the United States.

The Chase
Before Wayne can show either of the cars he must pull the Panhard out of a barn near his shop where is has been stored for twenty years.

The Fix
With concours day fast approaching the race is on to get both of these rare automobiles ready and running before the August event.

The Deal
Held in conjunction with the concours is RM Auctions' much anticipated Vintage Cars Meadow Brook Auction where Wayne bids on a 1948 Mercury M-47 1/2-Ton Pickup Truck. Later the Hudson and the Pan Hard take home two unexpected awards.
30 April & 01 May Everybody loves a Woodie Wayne's got a lead on a wood paneled 1963 Ford Falcon Squire Station Wagon.

The Chase
While the Falcon is in fact a station wagon – it's got that cool Woodie styling Wayne loves and he's sure this car will make a great quick flip. After a brief inspection he buys the car on the spot.

The Fix
Wayne and his crew race to prep the Falcon in time for auction.

The Deal
When the Falcon flops at auction Wayne doesn't let his disappointment diminish his interest in Woodies. Just two months later Wayne goes after a 1946 Mercury Sportsman Convertible – valued at a quarter of a million dollars.
07 & 08 May Muntz Jet Last season Wayne fulfilled a lifetime dream when his 1952 Muntz Jet was awarded a coveted spot on the lawn on at the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance. An original through and through, the Muntz was designed by famous Indy car builder Frank Kurtis and manufactured by TV maverick Earl "Madman" Muntz and later restyled by the famous customizer Joe Bailon.

The Chase
Now after owning the car for several years, Wayne is hoping the Pebble Beach lineage will add value to the Muntz when he rolls the dice and puts it and up for sale at the prestigious Bonhams auction in Carmel Valley, CA.

The Fix
After spending a year in storage – Wayne readies the Muntz for sale.

The Sidecar
Also up for sale at Bonhams is a 1939 Auto Union Type D race car that was to be sold at auction in Paris a few years ago. However, the car was pulled unexpectedly when it was determined that it had a checkered history and an international scandal resulted with some even calling the car a fake. Now that the media attention has died down, the owner has decided to put the car up for auction once again. In Paris the Auto Union was expected to fetch a record price approaching fifteen million dollars, now the world will be watching to see if the car's potentially sketchy history will affect its sale, or if history will be made.

The Deal
Will Wayne's crown jewel perform at auction or will his best laid plans backfire in his face?
14 & 15 May Bora & Bentley
Michael Kittredge, the founder of the Yankee Candle Company, may have made his fortune selling wax and wicks – but his true love is cars. With a collection of over fifty collector cars and exotics he's a man who knows what he wants in the garage.

The Chase
Michael contacts Wayne to sell two cars from his collection – a 1978 Maserati Bora with only 2,000 miles and a 1961 Bentley S2 Continental Drop Head Coupe valued between $175,000 and $225,000.

The Fix
The team at F40 tunes up both cars in time to photograph them for the auction catalog.

The Deal
With two auctions in one day Wayne races between the sale of the Bora at Mecum Auctions and the Bentley at RM Auctions during the world famous Monterey Week.
21 & 22 May Bentleys
If you know Wayne – you know he has a thing for vintage Bentleys. When he's given a chance to mix business with pleasure and sell a 1927 4.5 Litre Bentley Le Mans he jumps at the opportunity.

The Chase
Trouble is the car is in England and Wayne is in the US and there's no way that Wayne will sell the car sight unseen so, he has the Bentley flown in from the UK and delivered to his shop.

The Fix
While the car was described as being in "pristine condition" this will be Wayne's first chance to insect it. He'll need to have his team of mechanics and specialists at the ready just in case any detail fails to live up to his exacting standards.

The Sidecar
Wayne takes a 1926 3 litre Bentley from his personal collection on a road trip to visit what might be the world's most complete collection of rare race cars. From the first Ford to ever win at Le Mans, to the first Alfa Romeo to win the Mille Mille, these cars are from every major historical race ever held -- including an un-restored 1930 Bentley 4.5 Litre Supercharged. Things heat up when Wayne and his host pit two cars head to head in an old school drag race.

The Deal
Will Wayne be able to sell the Le Mans Bentley for the owner's asking price of $695,000?
28 & 29 May Ferrari 375MM Barn Find
Wayne is thrilled when he learns that a Ferrari 375 MM potentially worth five to eight million dollars, and a collection of forty rare motorcycles, have quietly come up for private sale.

The Chase
Eager to inspect these rides in person, Wayne hits the road with the hopes of bringing home a few of the bikes and perhaps the Ferrari.

The Fix
Back at the shop Wayne's mechanic, Roger, is hard at work refurbishing a 1965 Jaguar Series 1 XKE that Wayne bought for the bargain price of $16,500 sight unseen from a widow in California.

The Deal
Fully restored the Jag could be worth $100,000, but looking for a quick flip, Wayne's plan is to give the car a little love and sell it online for $30,000-40,000. In the meantime, will Wayne seal the deal on the Ferrari or any of the bikes, or will he return home empty handed?
